I happened across Quantex Inspections based on the recommendation of a colleague. Mr. Chris Mohr was the inspector on that day and I'm glad he was there. As a third time home buyer, I have yet to see an inspector as thorough, meticulous and caring as Chris. On my realtor's recommendation, I hired Chris Mohr from Quantex Inspections, Inc. to do an inspection on a property that I was considering buying. Chris was formerly a professional civil engineer. I found Chris to be very easy-going, informative and professional. He takes a lot of pictures to back up his written observations. I was a bit disappointed, initially, that he didn't actually get up on the (3rd story) roof which I knew had issues. He told me that, if it was important to me, his partner was willing to go up there, but after his binocular observations, and detailed check in the crawl space I felt like I knew what was going on (new roof recommended). The final report consisted of several parts, including a general report, wind mitigation report, and termite inspection (actually completed by one of their "partners"). Overall, the report was very well done and gave me a great sense of my working priorities (my offer was accepted). I would also add that Chris was very forthcoming with information and I learned a lot during the inspection process. I definitely recommend him.

As the realtor representing a 4 unit apartment in Tampa, we selected Chris Mohr of Quantex to do the inspection. Chris made the inspection as I tagged along. Both the buyer and the seller were impressed. Mr. Mohr has over 30 years’ experience as a General Contractor. He also has a degree in Civil Engineering. His formal education and hands on experience makes him an ideal inspector.
The next inspection by Chris Mohr was on a 4,833 sq. ft. home in Pasco County with 4,155 sq. ft. under air. Because of the many defects in the property the Buyer did not purchase. However, he was extremely pleased with the inspection report.
In the third inspection a doctor purchased a 12,203 square foot commercial building in St. Petersburg, Florida. Before the sale was closed the doctor hired Quantex. The Buyer was impressed with how thorough they were and the inspection report.
A fourth inspection was done on a 32,212 square foot warehouse with some office space in Tampa, Florida. The inspection report was 66 pages. Buyer was very happy with the inspection report.
